Why we built RentSync
So much of what we buy sits idle most of the time — the trailer used twice a year, the pressure washer in the garage, the spare room down the hall. Ownership is expensive, wasteful and rarely necessary. Access almost always beats it: it costs less, keeps usable things in circulation instead of landfill, and puts money back into local pockets.
RentSync is the peer-to-peer marketplace that makes that access work. We connect local hosts who have vehicles, equipment and property to share with renters who need them — with identity verification, secure payments, held deposits and honest two-way reviews built in from day one, so both sides can transact with confidence.
